DIVISIONS OF PLAY:      8 & Under      10 & Under    12 & Under      14 & Under    16 & Under    18 & Under

All teams must be registered with NSA and have properly qualified & validated their berth by playing in their
State Championships for the NSA Girl’s Fastpitch World Series or receive a berth from an NIT.

  Games Begin Play:      Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 8:00 am at all park locations

 ENTRY FEE:  $750.00 - The fee INCLUDES all GATE FEES for ALL attendees good at any of the field locations.

           NEW   EARLY ENTRY DISCOUNTPAY IN FULL by April 15th and deduct $50 OFF the entry fee.

DEPOSIT FORM:  $300 Deposit and Deposit Form is required to reserve a spot in the NSA World Series.

           A team will not be allowed to compete if all information is not complete and correct or they fail to validate a berth.
           It is the team’s responsibility to ensure they meet the qualifying requirements, that the fees and all paperwork are complete

           with correct information, and that it is received by the World Series Director by the deadline listed in the packet.

           Your “home” State Director will still verify your berth and final roster for the World Series.

FORMAT:   The tournament will be a five (5) game format.  The format will be a two (2) game seed play and then advance to a double elimination game tournament bracket.  Should you lose your first two elimination games you will be awarded a consolation game.  All teams should be ready to play on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 beginning at 8:00am.  Teams are required to participate in pool play.

Eddie C. Moore has 9 fields that will be used.  Fields 1-4 are grouped together, followed by Fields 5-7 which is located one block west of the first group of fields and then Fields 8 & 9 are one block west of the middle set of fields.

The Team Manager will register his/her team and pick up packets, which will include the pre-set 2 game seeding schedule.  Seeding will be determined by Pool Play into the Official 2 Game Tournament Bracket.

MANAGERS MEETING:   Tuesday   July 17, 2018    5:15 PM at the Bright House Field

Only 2 managers/coaches from each team are requested to attend the managers meeting.  We cannot emphasize the importance of attendance at the managers meeting.  The tournament rules, format and any last minute and necessary changes will be covered.  This will also be the last chance for you to pick up your team packet.

OPENING  CEREMONIES:    Wednesday  July 18, 2018   Begins at 6:00 PM   Teams and all family members are invited!

The party will be held at Bright House Field which is home to the Clearwater Threshers, the minor league affiliate to the Philadelphia Phillies.  The festivities will include: All teams being announced before the game and walking on the field, Miss NSA 2018 crowned for each age division, NSA Scholarship and Team Pin Swap.  Tickets to the game will be free of charge for every player and coach (limit 2 coaches)!  All you can eat food and soft drinks will also be included at no charge for players and coaches (limit 2 coaches).  Game tickets inclusive of food and soft drink will be made available for everyone else at the low cost of $17.00 per ticket.  YOU MUST PREREGISTER FOR THIS EVENT BY JULY 9TH – EMAIL PAT AFFRUNTI WITH YOUR REQUEST FOR TICKETS AT This email address is being protected from spambots. GAMES BEGIN:  Games will start at 8:00 AM on Wednesday July 18, 2018.

NSA SCHOLARSHIP DRAWING:  NSA will award a $500.00 scholarship to one player participating in the NSA World Series tournament.

PRACTICE FIELDS:  Practice fields will be available by reservation.  You may reserve a field by contacting the city of Clearwater or Dunedin directly.  To reach the city of Clearwater please call 727-562-4802.  The city of Dunedin can be reached at 727-812-4530


Can my team play in the NSA World Series if their insurance is NOT an NSA/Westpoint Insurance Policy?
YES, just supply us with a copy of the current insurance for your team - no matter the company - when submitting your
paperwork.  We will make sure that your team meets the NSA/Westpoint Insurance requirement for the World Series tournament.  Nothing else you need to do and no additional fees for your team.

TOURNAMENT ADMISSION ALL TOURNAMENT ADMISSION IS INCLUDED IN THE ENTRY FEE - This includes all spectators, family, and friends!  No passes to keep track of or worry about losing!


    Only companies that have signed the NSA contract are approved for use and listed on the Approved Bat
    Companies List at www.PlayNSA.com  -  Click on Equipment Bats & Balls. 
    1.  The bat MUST be from a company on the Approved Bat Company List.

2. Only BATS from these companies with the 2012 NSA Logo or STAMP on them will be allowed. 
         (Outline of United States & NSA 2012)  The NSA bat logo has been put on bats since 2011.

       Note:  It is the coaches/players' responsibility to check their bats for the Approved Company
               and the stamp prior to bringing them into play.

  SOFTBALLS: NSA black stitched optic yellow softballs are provided.  Umpires will control the balls and umpire
  decisions are final on softballs.

PROOF OF AGE:  All managers will be required to furnish proof of age to the tournament committee (copy of birth certificate, driver’s license, or government issued photo ID) for any player on their team at any time during the tournament.

PROTEST: Umpire judgment calls are final.  There will be a $75.00 CASH ONLY protest fee for rule or per player protest.  

Bat Protest fee is $200 cash only.  If protest is ruled in your favor, your money will be returned.

PLAYING RULES: NSA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the NSA Rule Book.
It is the coach/managers responsibility to know the rules & bylaws of NSA.  Ignorance of a rule or bylaw of NSA does NOT negate the penalty.  NSA rule book and bylaws are available online 24/7 at
NOTE: ALL GAMES, including CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES will be run with a Time Limit and Mercy/Run Rules.
Metal cleats are allowed in the 14U, 16U, 18 Under Division only in this NSA World Series. 

AWARDS:  The awards will include but not limited to the following:  First place through fifth place team trophy for each division of play.  First place through fourth place will receive individual awards for each division of play.  Additional awards may be presented at any time.  World Series Championship patches for the champions in each age division.

SOUVENIRS:   A variety of official NSA souvenirs (t-shirts, caps and miscellaneous items) will be on sale at designated sites throughout the tournament.

CONDITIONSThe Tournament committee reserves the right to change game times, playing fields, dates or format including eliminating the loser’s bracket to complete the tournament.  There is an assumption of risk in competing in or attending the Tournament and the Tournament Committee, City of Clearwater, City of Dunedin and NSA, and any or all sponsors are not liable for any accidents or injuries.  The Tournament Committee will rule on all matters as they occur, including protests.  Entry into the tournament constitutes agreement to these conditions.
