2024 NSA QUEEN OF THE DIAMONDS - RING EVENT - 3/1 FORMAT

FIELD CONDITIONS UPDATE – TRINITY – SUN 6:25 AM:  I HAVE JUST WALKED THE FIELDS IN TRINITY AND WE ARE A GO FOR AN 8 AM START.  IT IS CURRENTLY NOT RAINING HERE.  PLEASE CONTINUE TO CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES…IF ANYTHING CHANGES IT WILL BE POSTED HERE.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR COACHES/PLAYERS/PARENTS:  

1)    Due to the storm last weekend and many teams not being able to play, this weekend's tournament grew expeditiously, and we were forced to get a second complex. Yes, this could inconvenience some of you, but in the spirit of community we wanted to provide some sense of normalcy for the kids.  Therefore, we did not turn any teams away, but rather found a way to work through the dilemma of having to find additional fields to accommodate every team. Thank you in advance for going out of your way this weekend to give our children the chance to enjoy themselves (adults too) after all the stress and devastation everyone has heard about all week. Let's be kind to everyone and have a great weekend!

10U - You will play at Starkey Ranch both days. You will be split into gold and silver brackets for elimination.  

12U - You will play in New Tampa both days. There are 21 of you so you basically needed your own complex.  You will be split into gold and silver brackets for elimination.  

14U - You will play Saturday at Starkey Ranch and Sunday in New Tampa. Your 3^rd seed game will be played Sunday before elimination.

HS - You will play both days at Starkey Ranch. Your 3^rd seed game will be played on Sunday before elimination.

2)    You must be sanctioned and have current insurance prior to your first game. If you are not sanctioned go to nsa.registerplay.com.

3)    All weather updates will be displayed on this page and only this page. 

4)    Please make sure to pick up after your team before leaving the dugout and in the bleachers where your parents sit. Failure to do so will require us from banning you in playing in Trinity or New Tampa per the city.

      5) 12U - When checking in on Saturday, you will have a new site director named Mike Murphy. This is his first tournament with us, so please welcome him and introduce yourselves.

Lastly, we would like to help out one of our local travel ball coaches in the area. Lisa Grigg and her family live on Madeira Beach and the storm surge has taken everything away from them. We would like to take donations for Lisa and her family this weekend so if you can spare any amount, it will surely help them in rebuilding their lives and the long road ahead they must endure. All checks can be made directly to Lisa Grigg and given to a site director at any point throughout the weekend. Any amount will help, thank you for your generosity and compassion in this matter.

ALL TEAMS MUST BE SANCTIONED FOR THE NEW SEASON (2025) TO PLAY THIS WEEKEND!  GO TO NSA.REGISTERPLAY.COM, CREATE AN ACCOUNT, GO TO MY TEAMS AND THEN CREATE A TEAM.  YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE SANCTION FEE OF $50 ONLINE. IF YOU ARE “PLAYING DOWN” IN AN AGE GROUP UNTIL 1/1/25, YOU MUST DO THE FALL ONLY SANCTION TO ALLOW YOUR OLDER PLAYERS TO BE ROSTERED.  IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE, PLEASE CONTACT CHRISTY RANDOLPH AT (727) 348-7301 BY THURSDAY EVENING TO ENSURE YOU HAVE TIME TO COMPLETE YOUR ROSTER.  EVERY TEAM IS REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ONLINE ROSTER.

 PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU OR A REPRESENTATIVE FROM YOUR TEAM CHECKS IN WITH THE SITE DIRECTOR BEFORE YOUR FIRST GAME, EVEN IF YOU HAVE PRE-PAID. FOR CHECK-IN YOU WILL NEED YOUR PAYMENT (CASH OR CHECK ONLY – NO CREDIT CARDS OR ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS WILL BE TAKEN), PROOF OF INSURANCE (MUST SHOW CERTIFICATE ON PAPER OR ELECTRONICALLY), AND TO VERIFY THE PLAYERS ON YOUR ONLINE ROSTER.  ANY PLAYERS NOT ON ONLINE ROSTER THAT ARE PLAYING WITH YOU THIS WEEKEND WILL NEED TO BE ON A GUEST PLAYER FORM (SEE BELOW BY SEEDING SCHEDULE).
